Our Co-Occurring Mental Health, Alcohol and Drugs (COMHAD) teams offer support to people who are experiencing both mental health and substance use difficulties.
Our aim is to ensure service users who face challenges with substances misuse have equal access to mental health services.
We believe that recovery is empowerment.
The COMHAD team, based within the Greenwich Mental Health Hub, offers a range of clinical and psychosocial interventions including one-to-one support and groupwork.
The COMHAD programme explores the connection between substance misuse and mental health to better develop holistic wellbeing and self-management.
We work closely with the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s commissioned drug and alcohol service: Via org, Greenwich.
"Accessing the COMHAD service at Greenwich Mental Health Hub has been an amazing experience. The group sessions and one-to-one meetings with the facilitator have helped and inspired me." - Oliver
