The mental health crisis line number has changed

You now need to dial NHS 111 and select the mental health option.

 

South London NHS Mental Health Crisis WhatsApp Service

A new NHS mental health WhatsApp service is now available in South London.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, or are worried about a friend or family member, you can access support via WhatsApp Messenger.

Simply message 0303 330 1511 on WhatsApp where one of our friendly advisors can support with your unique needs.

  • Contact SANEline - specialist emotional support, guidance and information
  • Contact National Suicide Prevention Helpline UK - a suicide prevention charity

  • Contact THE MIX - essential support for under 25s

Call 999 or go to A&E now if:

  • someone's life is at risk – for example, they have seriously injured themselves or taken an overdose
  • you do not feel you can keep yourself or someone else safe

  • Call the young people’s mental health crisis line on 020 3228 5980. Open Monday – Friday 5am-11pm and weekends 9am-11pm.
